Jordy & Máté

Jordy and I met in August 2017 at a music festival in Budapest called Sziget Fesztivál. We fell in love and started travelling across Europe together. In Christmas 2017 I came to Canada and Jordy's family welcomed me with open arms. From there we continue to travel to places like Australia, Hungary, and Czech Republic. We moved back to Canada in December of 2020 and have been living here ever since. We found a lovely place in the heart of Vancouver that we now call home. While on a trip to visit my family, I proposed to Jordy at her favourite spot in the city we fell in love and she said yes!

Events will be held in Field, BC. A beautiful village in the heart of the Canadian Rockies in Yoho National Park. Field is easily accessible from Calgary, Alberta and Banff National Park via the Trans-Canada Highway. If you are traveling from Vancouver or the west coast of BC, you can get to Field by heading east on the Trans-Canada Highway.

There are a few options for accommodations in Field. There are guesthouses available on AirBnB and Booking.com, and the Truffle Pigs Bistro and Lodge as well as Emerald Lake Lodge.

There are many things to do in the area, including hiking, canoeing, and wildlife spotting.

The weather can be unpredictable, please come prepared for all kinds of weather. We recommend bringing layers, rain gear, and comfortable walking shoes. The dress code is semi-formal or casual. Our wedding colour palette is inspired by Autumn in the Rockies.
